RESERVATIONS FOR THE 2026 CMP SERVICE RIFLE CLINICS CAN BE MADE AT ANY TIME UP THRU THE DAY BEFORE THE SCHEDULED CLINIC ON OUR EVENT WEBSITE CALENDARClass InformationReservations should be made for a particular rifle type and a specific date. Location: ASC West Side Range Building. You will be met at the entry gate for the Rifle/Pistol ranges. Travel South on Waterman Rd to Reuff Rd. Then West 1 mile to the Second gate on the North side. The entire clinic - classroom and range time - lasts approximately 4 hours. We shoot rain or shine. "Please note that leaving a message on the ASC voice mail or E-Mail at other times does not constitute a reservation."  Ear and eye protection is mandatory and can be supplied. Proper shooting clothing, such as a long-sleeve shirt, long pants, and elbow pads are strongly recommended. Participation in a CMP Clinic fulfills one of the requirements to purchase a surplus M1 Garand Rifle from the Civilian Marksmanship Program. TASC Class (Ranges E6 through E10, Vehicle Bay)Classes are ONLY OPEN TO CLUB MEMBERS WHO HAVE COMPLETED Prerequisites
The purpose of T.A.S.C. is skills development, not competition. The focus of T.A.S.C. will be the introduction, development, and practice of skills that would be applicable in self-defense situations. Shoot, Move, Communicate.
Each event starts with a discussion of the skills and techniques that will be explored that day, followed by dry fire and individual skills based breakdown sessions. Each event will culminate with the application of the days work being applied to potential real-world scenarios.
November has unique start and finish hours due to it being a night shot and invite only. We will notify you when registration opens for that event.
