TAC-TECHS: Sandbox Day

This session is a "sandbox" session, with all the TAC-TECHs cadre available, to start playing with and troubleshooting all of the topics covered so far in the 2026 TAC-TECHs curriculum.

Why This Matters

We've given ASC Club members details on what radios to buy, what mesh equipment to invest in, and we've started to play with using Team Awareness Kit (TAK). Now it's time to start to use it all and troubleshoot through some of the technology. 

What We’ll Cover

- This is an open session to play with and troubleshoot technology that's been discussed in the program
- Radio programming and troubleshooting
- Meshtastic & Meshcore troubleshooting
- TAK server and TAK End-User-Device (EUD) troubleshooting and play 

Who Should Attend

No experience required. This session is suitable for beginners and anyone interested in preparedness and communications.

What to Bring

No equipment required.

For the best experience, users should bring their Radio, Mesh, or TAK devices.

A End User Device (EUD) is suggested. Nearly any smartphone will work. 
A Meshtastic Devices is suggested. 
Optional personal devices for note-taking or discussion.
