ASC USPSA Shooting is an opportunity to move, shoot, and challenge yourself with your handgun.
 
Participants will face new scenarios each month. Shooters should plan on firing up to 300 rounds. This is an opportunity to move, shoot, and challenge yourself with your handgun.
 
All skill levels are welcome, and we always welcome new shooters!
Check in for matches occurs at 8 am the day of each event. Note that you must be present for the safety brief at 08:45 to be eligible to participate. Shooters not checked-in and present will forfeit their spot. There are no exceptions to this. Most events end at 4 pm.

  Come to the skeet/trap/5-stand field with:

  • Any gauge shotgun
  • Safety glasses
  • Hearing protection and boxes of target load lead or steel ammunition in shot sizes 7 1/2, 8 or 9.

Shooters may share a shotgun on this course. Please locate one of our Pullers (in Orange) upon arrival. The field is on Rueff Rd, Waterman, Illinois and has a sign that says skeet/trap/archery.

PRS Rimfire Match (600 Yard Range Closed for Match)

 

The PRS Rimfire Series is both a regional and club-level series formed by Rimfire MD’s, shooters, and our partners.

Typical COF:
The course of fire will be 7-10 stages. 70-120+ rounds of 22LR engaging steel targets from 25 to 400 yards. There is a good mix between prone, barricade and positional stages. Steel targets sized from 1/4" to 8" depending on the stage description.

ASC Outlaw Steel Challenge (Ranges E1 through E5)

Outlaw Steel Challenge is like traditional steel challenge with a caveat; the goal of this outlaw format is to test your shooting ability rather than your ability to memorize patterns.
 
The matches consists of 5 stages setup one stage per bay. Each stage will have an array of 5 pieces of static steel with one piece of steel painted a different color to indicate that it’s the stop plate, which is the plate that you shoot last.
 
Calibers allowed: 22lr, 38 special, 9mm, 40 S&W, and 45 ACP.
 
The divisions consist of rimfire 22 lr pistols and rifles; iron sight and optics, Centerfire PCC, and all centerfire handguns.
 
Setup starts at 8 am. All attendees please take part in setup if you can.
Check in starts at 8:30 am. Safety Brief at 8:45 am. All attendees must be present for the safety brief to participate in the event. Match starts at 9 am.

Shotgun Saturday Night Shoot-Kids Night (2)

 

Youth and Adults Saturday Night Shoot
July 25, 2026, 4 pm until 10 pm


Youth night shoot will consist of various stations:

Fishing, Archery, Muzzle Loading Shotgun, Hybrid Game of Trap /Skeet, Plus Slinging/Shooting Water Balloons.  $5 for youths (high school or younger) covers food, drinks, prizes, ammo, clays and balloons

Upon arrival, please check in to register at the skeet/trap pavilion
  • Fishing starts at 4 pm.  We provide the poles and bait!
  • White clays for trap and lighted water balloons after dark!
  • Prizes for the kids who try every youth station.
  • We will have .410 and 28-gauge shotguns and ammo available for youth on the skeet field. Each shotgun station will have 12- and 20-gauge youth-sized shotguns and ammo available. All adult shooters must provide their own shotguns and ammunition.
  • Muzzle loader shotguns and black powder ammo plus loading instructions will be provided.
  • Eye and ear protection will be available if you do not bring your own.
  • Parents can shoot other games while kids participate in the youth stations.  Each youth station will have at least two volunteers running the station and controlling the shooters, club guns and bows.  There will be Range Safety Officers on site.
  • Elimination games for adults and older kids on trap field #1-Blue Bird, Killer, Killer Pieces, etc. (usually starts around 8 pm).
  • Hamburgers, grilled chicken breast, brats, dogs, drinks, chips and ice cream!
 
​So come out to ASC and shoot Trap/Skeet/5-Stand and youth stations at our Saturday Night Shoot, July 27th.  We will have two  fee options:
Members will use their game card for their guest.  For this event only, wrist bands are not required.

Junior rate (high school or younger) for this night is $5 for all the clays and water balloons they can break.  Plus fishing, archery food and drinks!  Includes ammo.  
 

Bring your kids friends.  Adults shooting must bring: shotgun, at least 100 target load lead or steel shells (no hunting or defense loads) 7 1/2, 8, or 9 shot, plus eye and ear protection.   Participants can start any time between 4:00 pm and 9:30 pm. Food starts at 6:00 pm. Fees may be paid by cash or check.  We will have Pullers plus volunteers.  

Youth must supply ammo for personal guns that are not 12g or 20g (minimum suggested quantity 50 shells).   We recommend using club guns if you do not have a 12g or 20g.  All shells need to be lead or steal (no hunting or defense loads) 7 1/2, 8, or 9 shot.  Bring eye and ear protection if you have them.

All ammo and guns supplied at muzzle loading.

If you have a bow and arrows, bring them; otherwise plan to use club bows and arrows.

We will shoot until 10 pm if shooters are present!
